a) _cross.ova.ing ][4rm.blog.2.log][_ is "netwurk repository" that's been in operation since 2003. these "wurks" r inscribed using the infamous polysemic language system termed _mezangelle_. this language evolved/s from multifarious email exchanges, computer code flavoured language + net iconographs. 2 _mezangelle_ means 2 take words>wordstrings>sentences + alter them in such a way as 2 /x/tend + /n/hance meaning beyond the predicted +/or /x/pected. _mezangelling_ @tempts 2 /x/pand traditional text parameters thru layered/alternative/code based meanings /m/bedded in2 meta-phonetic renderings of language. _cross.ova.ing ][4rm.blog.2.log][ /m/ploys a base standard of code>txt in order 2 evoke imaginative renderings rather than motion-based>flashy graphics.

b) another of my current creative projs is _feralC_: an ARG "socumentary" consisting of faux.social_networking [profiles/elements] that follows [in a mocumentary-type fashion] /n/tities who rewrite previously held assumptions regarding basic human psychological/linguistic functioning via their communication output. the proj was originally slated 4 construction back in 2006: due 2 copyright concerns>hiccups from the [then] commissioning organisation the project wasn't realised as intended. in _feralC_'s present incarnation, the underlying motivations of the project involves the fracturing of identity perceptions [ie the individual as geocentric>as text-immersed>as functioning through non_geophysically based social_networks] 2 allow for a reassessment of definitions of identity>self. the project mechanics center around multiple synthetically_dependent "chars" [characters] who begin 2 "narrative-act" via threaded social connections._feralC_ is commissioned by Arnolfini + goes live May 2010.

In development: a set of "phrasings" [Transformational Articles Sets] that weave the idea of "The Geonormative": a re-conceptualisation> expansion of the _Virtuality Continuum_ towards a _Presence Co-ordinate System_.

The development of the concept of _Synthetics_ is crucial to this system [working extract]: "Synthetics are not virtual representations of "real" people: instead, they are reality-gradated presences that fluctuate in a Presence Coordinate System that spans the virtual and the phenomenologically "real". Synthetics allow for identity formation that utilizes projective structures [avatars, game characters, social networking profiling] to create variable personality constructs. These personality constructs may align closely with a Geonormative/Geotypical manifestation [ie similar to the top-level entity that inhabits the character/virtual body] or may only glancingly resemble the "actual [real]" person. Geonormatives/Geotypicals are entities who believe all human [social] interactions must use a geophysical presence as a standardised baseline.
